It is easy to process your past. With a little practice, you will have discovered your inner power to remove all the blocks. There are four basic steps. Step One is as follows:
Step One: Linking Your Feelings to Your PastConfusion, the block we are dealing with here, is linked to the feeling Helplessness. If it is difficult to link your present feelings with past feelings, use these statements:
- Recall a time when you felt helpless in some way.
- Recall a time when you were little and needed help.
- Recall a time when you were lost and asked for help.
- Recall a time when you didn't know how to get home.
- Recall a time when you were new and didn't know how things worked.
- Recall a time when you couldn't make something work.
- Recall a time when you couldn't do what was expected of you.
- Recall a time when you felt pressured.
- Recall a time when you were late.
- Recall a time when you waited until the last minute.
- Recall a time when you finally got help.
- Recall a time when you eventually achieved a goal.
- Recall a time when you struggled to get out.
- Recall a time when you were physically held back in some way.
- Recall a time when you didn't know whom you could trust.
