Over the last decade, Dr. John Gray's best-selling book Men Are from Mars, Women Are From Venus and the name Mars & Venus have become synonymous with improving communication and understanding between the sexes. Tens of millions of dollars worth of media exposure and over forty million books sold ensure that potential clients will immediately recognize and respond to the name Mars & Venus.
The Mars Venus Workshops are designed by and based on the extraordinarily popular material Dr. John Gray has presented in his books and seminars. The workshops are intended to teach participants the Mars Venus principles and tools and allow them to practice using these techniques in a supportive environment.
A significant portion of each class is devoted to video lectures by Dr. Gray. The remainder of the class encompasses exercises and group discussions lead by the facilitator. After each videotaped segment the facilitator would then have a group open to the appropriate section of the Mars Venus workbook designed to solidify the insights of that particular exercise. Learning this Mars Venus material in a group setting will help to deepen people's understanding and alter instinctive behavior. The workshops are fun, interactive, non-confrontational, and "male-friendly."
Each workshop provides you with up to 8 hours of material. You are able to design a workshop that caters to the specific needs of your group. Most facilitators provide the complete 8-hour workshop charging a minimum cost of $99 per participant. There are 5 different workshops available covering a wide variety of Dr. Gray's material.
The Workshop Facilitator certification is available through a home study course with comprehensive manuals for the workshop. These are the recommended workshop formats the Institute suggests you follow. Most facilitators choose to follow the recommended formats as they have created tremendous results!
The Institute accepts applications from dynamic presenters with strong outgoing personalities who want to be independent Mars Venus Workshop Facilitator and feel confident in their ability to market their own Mars Venus Workshop services.
A note to professional counselors interested in teaching the Mars Venus workshops: As it is likely that some of your Mars Venus workshop participants will possibly return to the counselor who facilitated the workshops for counseling, professional counselors are required to apply for the Counselor program and will not be accepted into the Facilitator program. Facilitator Qualifications
Our successful applicants are dynamic outgoing individuals who have a strong desire to help individuals and couples learn and grow in love using Dr. Gray's Mars Venus material. The Mars Venus material has had a dramatic effect on their own lives, or that of someone they know.
We accept applications from individuals who have some or all of the following qualifications:
1) Self-motivated and enthusiastic
2) Previously or currently successfully self-employed
3) Experienced speakers
4) Experienced coaches
5) Dynamic out-going personalities
6) Previous marketing experience
7) Determined you have the necessary skills to be successful independent workshop facilitators or counselors
All of our facilitators and counselors are independent contractors and therefore operators of their own businesses. They utilize the Mars Venus workshops, logos, and certifications we provide to them. Included with the certification is a listing and an informational profile on our Web site along with some workshop flyer marketing examples. We do not offer any additional marketing materials or marketing support, therefore it is important when applying to our program that you feel confident in your ability to market yourself using the Mars Venus nationally recognized brand name and logo.
Are you able to help people work through their fears, showing them that there is hope? Are you comfortable asking people to face what is uncomfortable for them? Remember, you can change people's lives. Also remember, that people are uncomfortable with change.
Our programs stand on their own; they will improve relationships by improving the participants' ability to communicate effectively.

Application Procedures
